Joe is Chief Technology & Transformation Officer at Mindshare, Chair of the MFA Awards Committee and co-founder of the MFA EX Conference, Australia’s largest media agency industry event.
Over the past 20+ years Joe has worked for WPP, Omnicom and Publicis in media, digital and creative agencies, including two years in London and five years in Paris.
After starting his career as an Intelligence Officer for a government intelligence agency, Joe made the leap into advertising with Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney, where he established the agency’s digital media offering at Saatchi Interactive.
During his time in London he helped to launch the iconic O2 Priority work, before moving to Paris with OMD and then ZenithOptimedia – heading up global strategy, digital planning and local market delivery, managing 1 Billion Euros across 50+ countries.
He has won multiple awards for his work including Cannes Lions, Effies and MFA Awards and is a published author in La Publicité à l’Heure de la Data (Advertising in the Age of Data). Joe’s role at Mindshare is to help clients achieve their wildest ambitions, delivering ‘good growth’ through strategic application of technology and data.
